Shenzhen Syscan Technology Co., Ltd (SST), registered and established in Shenzhen in 2001, is a hi-tech enterprise with the registration capital of USD$10,000,000 and the total capital of USD$19,250,000.
SST has engaged in research, development, design, manufacture and sales of 2D Barcode technology, optical image module and relevant products. Syscan is the most influential provider of 2D Barcode technology, products and application solutions in China. Basing on the self-developed Syscan 2D Barcode technology with IPR, SST has successfully undertaken development of barcode standards, manufacture of barcode readers and providing application solutions. The "Grid Matrix (GM) Code" and the "Compact Matrix(CM) Code" have been approved to be the national standard (SJ/T 11349-2006, SJ/T 11350-2006) of the electronic industry by the Ministry of Information Industry of PRC, which are the first 2D Barcode standards in China with self-developed IPR by Chinese.
Syscan has kept up with the state of the art technologies in the field of AIDC and CIS digital optoelectronic image. More than 150 patents have been applied in different countries. Among them, more than 100 patents have been approved.
Syscan is now equipped with a series of internationally advanced machines such as optical chip test apparatuses, automatic microtome, automatic chip mounters, automatic chip press welder, automatic dispensers, and computer test apparatuses.

A verification committee comprising seven members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering organized by the Information Industry Ministry certified the Syscan CM and GM 2D barcodes and their identification system. |

Syscan Group established Wuhan Syscan Technology Co., Ltd, put all 2D Barcode technology and relevant patents into the company. A national base of 2D Barcode technology R & D and production & promotion is under preparation. The draft of the two industry standards on 2D Barcode being submitted and passed the procedure of industry examination, and being published on the website of Chinese Electronics Standardization Association in September. |
