Data Coding Capacity |

SYSCAN CM 2D Barcode adopts advanced structure design and data compression mode, which drives the qualitative improvement in data coding capacity. There're 32 versions for CM 2D barcode, and each version has 1~32 optional data section(s), and there're 8 optional error correction levels for the combination of each version and each section, thus there're 32*32*8=8192 capacity in maximum for SYSCAN CM 2D Barcode. The storage capacity (byte) for error correction information in L1~8 for largest graph is respectively 57691, 52674,47657,42640,37624,32606,27590 and 22572. The recommended capacity is 2k-3kb for ID card and less than 12kb for document.

The appearance of CM Code is rectangle, the scale of which could be controlled by adjusting the graph version and data section and the size of which could also be satisfied by adjusting the ratio of width to height of unit module.

CM 2D barcode supports the synchronal mode, viz. decoding while scanning, and the mode of decoding after the completion of scanning. The former enhances the efficiency and reduce the requirements on performance of processor; while the latter strengthens the capacity of anti-defilement.

The features of image collected via different image obtaining modes will differ from each other due to different image identification algorithms. CM 2D barcode support multiple scanning modes including sweep scanning, sheet-fed scanning and flatbed scanning.

Type & Coding Efficiency of Programmable Data |

CM 2D barcode could encode any digital information, 10 bit/3 characters for figures, 7 bit/character for ASCII characters and 13bit/character for Chinese characters, with certain compression capacity for those three kinds of information.
